Post 16 Transition supports young people to stay in education, employment or training until the age of 18.

There is a Transition team at Surrey County Council who support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
The Transition team work with a range of people to help you with your journey to adulthood; this journey is sometimes called “Transition”.

Did you know? The User Voice and Participation Team employs apprentices who have accessed or currently accessing services in Surrey.
For example, some of our apprentices may have experience of accessing Mental Health services, have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP), be a Young Carer, a Care Leaver or a Looked After Child. Apprentices working in the User Voice and Participation Team are vital to all our work, projects and events we do!
